Guest Appearance

This Thursday (Oct. 25) Silvertide's own Delaney Wiebe will be joining Fitness Development for one practice!! I hope all of FD can make it out as Delaney rules!!

The diving videos from Tuesday's practice will be posted here soon. Props to Coach Matt for already having videos of Silvertide swimmers up on his blog.

19th Annual Poppy Invitational Swim Meet

Silvertide's very own Poppy Invitational Swim Meet is coming up this November 10-11. It takes place at the newly renovated Kinsmen Sports Centre (9100 Walterdale Hill). I am strongly encouraging all Fitness Development swimmers to attend this meet. It's a great way to start the season, and a great introduction to competitive swimming for those who have not swam at any meets yet. I hope every can make it out.

The first swim meet I ever swam in was the 2nd Annual Poppy Invitational, in 1990. A year before Rachelle Winsor was born!
